Yoga Club is intended at MMA to give students an opportunity to discover something new for themselves. It is intended to educate students on different muscles they may not use often and how to push the body beyond its everyday limits. Not only is yoga a physical exercise but it is mostly a mental practice. Students will hopefully use yoga as a tool to find clarity and possibly excel further in school and everyday life. Not only could this individually help students but it could connect the MMA community as a whole. The general interest in yoga at MMA seems to be widespread across a variety of majors and could possibly be a connector for the normally divided departments.
