Pasture Pork and Poultry sold by the cut or as whole animal.
Our animals are raised on pasture, foraging to supplement their feed. Whereas most production facilities confine their animals and maintain constant feed for fastest growth, we believe in allowing the animal to grow at the pace that it evolved to. This encourages foraging and a more diverse diet like these animals would have in the wild. Pasture rotations ensure they are living on grass and have new vegetation available.

In 1988, Norm Dufour (USCGA 1971) and Norm Laskay (MMA 1962) reorganized Stickney Marine Surveyors into the marine survey and appraisal company now known as, Dufour, Laskay & Strouse (DLS). From there, DLS Marine steadily grew to 20 field surveyors, one of the largest independent multifaceted marine survey groups in the United States. With experience in virtually all major areas of the maritime industry, we offer a variety of worldwide services to include digital inspections, marine appraisals, business valuations, and surveys for ocean towing and shipping, inland services, salvage, damage, cargo, and claims adjusting. Ten of our surveyors are certified in hull and machinery with the National Association of Marine Surveyors and six are certified with the American Society of Appraisers in Machinery & Equipment. Four have additional specialty certifications as Accredited Senior Appraisers in commercial marine vessels. As Lloyd’s Agents, many of our cargo surveyors have earned the Lloyd’s of London Certificate of Cargo Surveying Proficiency.
The appraisal group has worked with most of the major domestic lenders and vessel operators for decades in asset-based lending and has also represented the major accounting firms in audit situations, and with the IRS. This has led to performing business valuations of maritime related businesses.

My work is heavily comprised of salvaged metals of several sorts. Over the years I ran my welding/consulting company many projects were repairs, upgrades, and modifications of all types of machinery and equipment, structural welding, marine repairs, bridge work, farm equipment, over the road machinery, signage, etc. Often this left me with the duty of removing the discarded materials. I began developing an eye and an appreciation for more and more of this detritus and resolving ways of putting the material to use. Over time the end result was in more of an artistic manner.
