Being an assistant coach has always meant little pay and no glory at the Division III level. Megan took no pay because of the hiring freeze and showed up daily to conduct individual workouts for members of the women’s basketball team throughout the school year, even when any intercollegiate play was far from being a reality. Her efforts provided a positive mental outlet in an otherwise stressful year.
