Crushing COVID Winner - Mackenzie Philbrick

Unsung Hero
Mackenzie Philbrick

I struggled to pick which category to nominate MacKenzie Philbrick for when it comes to the Crushing COVID awards, because she fits in so many. Kenzie, in her roles working for Residential Life and College Relations, has had major impacts on projects happening for the student body. Her work appears in the Be Better campaign and on the masks and stickers distributed to every student by the Student Government Association. But Kenzie is more than just her insightful knowledge of the MMA community and her phenomenal design work. Kenzie has worked tirelessly to help ResLife stay afloat while understaffed, taking on hours and hours of work and responsibilities to help make move in and COVID testing run smoothly, along with ongoing work and projects throughout the semester. She is a quiet and strong leader and I’m so envious of her future employers as she graduates next month and moves into the workforce.
