Keith Jordan is one of the most involved seniors on campus. With athletics, student government, campus activities board, and other commitments, Keith represents MMA in many ways. Throughout the pandemic, there have been a lot of challenges that took from the student experience – the senior class in particular. Keith has been very vocal and even critical of decisions and status quo of things during the shortened semesters. While many could say that being critical exemplifies a negative attitude and disdain for the institution, Keith’s criticism and feedback demonstrate his care for Maine Maritime Academy and his fellow students. This care for the community is what Mariner Pride is all about. Keith uses the correct avenues to pursue the best experience possible for his fellow students, whether it’s through advocating for change to COVID era instruction or implementing a fun event or two.
