  1. Go to: Canvas CPMD Portal
  2. Click “I DO NOT Have an MMA Email Address” on the right side of the screen.
  3. Log in using your email address and newly reset password.

Refund & Payment Policy

Maine Maritime Academy’s Center for Professional Mariner Development (CPMD) is dedicated to delivering critical maritime training when and where it’s needed most. We engage experienced instructors—many of whom travel significant distances to teach at our Bucksport, Maine facility. To maintain our commitment to quality and affordability, we ask that students honor the following policies:

Refund Policy

  • In-Person Courses: Fully refundable if canceled before the start of the course.
  • Online Courses: Refunds are available only if the course has not been accessed in Canvas, our Learning Management System. These courses are proprietary and developed in-house.
  • Employer-Sponsored Courses: Payment must be made in full either upon course completion or within six (6) months of registration, whichever comes first.
    All refunds will be issued minus a 2.9% credit card processing fee.

Course Cancellations

While we do our best to avoid cancellations, CPMD reserves the right to cancel courses as needed. In such cases, all registered participants will be notified promptly and issued a full refund, including the credit card processing fee.
