Accessing Your Course

Go to: Canvas CPMD Portal
Click “I DO NOT Have an MMA Email Address” on the right side of the screen.
Log in using your email address and newly reset password.

Refund & Payment Policy

Maine Maritime Academy’s Center for Professional Mariner Development (CPMD) is dedicated to delivering critical maritime training when and where it’s needed most. We work with experienced instructors, many of whom travel significant distances to teach at our Bucksport, Maine, facility.

To support our commitment to quality and affordability, the following refund and payment policies apply.

Refund Policy

In-Person Courses

- Students must notify CPMD at least 48 hours before the course begins to be eligible for a refund.
- The service fee is nonrefundable and will be deducted from the refund.

Online Courses

- Refunds are available only if the course has not been accessed in Canvas, our Learning Management System. These courses are proprietary and developed in-house.
- The service fee is nonrefundable and will be deducted from the refund.

Course Cancellations by CPMD

- CPMD reserves the right to cancel courses as needed. If CPMD cancels a course, all registered participants will be notified promptly and receive a full refund, including the service fee.

Payment Policy

Course Registration

- Payment is required in full at the time of registration for all courses.

Employer-Sponsored Courses

- Payment must be made in full either upon course completion or within six (6) months of registration, whichever comes first.
