Course Description
Course content will provide the knowledge required for facility and vessel personnel who are assigned specific security duties in connection with either a Facility Security Plan (FSP) or Vessel Security Plan (VSP) to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002, Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, and/or the IMO ISPS Code, and/or relevant U.S. Coast Guard regulations contained in 33 CFR Chapter 1 Subchapter H.


Course Access
Once you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with details on how to access the online coursework. You may complete the training at your own pace but may be required to finish one module before advancing to the next.

If you have previously completed any online learning classes at MMA, you will log back in with your existing username and password and see the new class on your dashboard. Please allow 24 hours for the enrollment and activation process to be complete.


U.S. Coast Guard Approval
The course meets the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency in Table A-VI/6 of the STCW Code and the mandatory training requirements in 33 CFR Part 104 and 105.
