Bowdoin’s arrival in Newfoundland was marked with outstanding weather. The southern coast of Newfoundland is known for thick fog, but instead we have had nothing but clear weather and beautiful views of the cliffs and fjords that stretch for miles along the coast.
We had our first up-close look as we passed through a narrow thoroughfare of the Ramea islands, and then made our way to Burgeo where we were able to tie up to the public dock for the night. All are excited as we get ready to explore along the coast.
