Academic Partners:

	University of Maine at Orono Department of chemical and Biological Engineering The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biological Engineering. Their world-class faculty conduct research into biomass to biofuel conversion, surface science and molecular biophysics.
	Forest Bioproductrs Research Institute FBRI at the University of Maine conducts cutting-edge research in the areas of biomass chemical conversion to bioproducts. They have pioneered developments in chemical conversion technologies to biofuels and novel cellulosic biomaterials.
