2/4/21 | Surveillance and Symptomatic Testing Information for Spring Semester

We’re beginning weekly surveillance testing tomorrow.  Those selected for testing this week have already been notified by Health Services.

In the future, weekly surveillance testing will take place on Wednesdays in the Health Center between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.  You will receive a notification on Friday from MMAHealth if you have been selected for testing.  Please be sure to show up on your assigned date or arrange a reschedule in advance as your participation in our testing program will help to keep us on campus for the semester.

he Health Center can do “symptomatic” testing most weekday mornings.  Please be aware that the Health Center can only conduct tests before noon, as that is when the courier picks up the tests to take to the lab.  Thus, after hours, options are to quarantine until the next morning or to go off-campus for a rapid test.

If you have COVID symptoms or believe you have been exposed:

  1. During Health Center Hours (6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.): Please call 326-2305 for instructions; do not show up without speaking with our staff first.
  2. If the Health Center is closed: Please should quarantine until you can be tested in Health Services the next business morning.  You may also wish to get a rapid test off-campus.

If you receive a positive test result from off-campus testing:

  1. During Health Center Hours (6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.): Please call 326-2305 for instructions; do not show up without speaking with our staff first.
  2. If the Health Center is closed: Please contact Elizabeth.True@mma.eduDeidra.Davis@mma.edu, Campus Safety so isolation and contact tracing can be conducted.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation with our testing program.
