Thomas Batt is a professor of Humanities. He teaches Composition, Humanities I and II, and electives in humanities. He serves as director of the Writing Center. He joined the faculty in 2005.
Dr. Batt holds a doctorate in Composition and Rhetoric from University of Massachusetts, a Masters of Fine Arts, also from University of Massachusetts, and B.A. in History from Cornell University. His research interests include teacher response to student writing, composition pedagogy and discourse analysis.B.A., Cornell University
