Bio

Thomas Batt is a professor of Humanities. He teaches Composition, Humanities I and II, and electives in humanities. He serves as director of the Writing Center. He joined the faculty in 2005.

Dr. Batt holds a doctorate in Composition and Rhetoric from University of Massachusetts, a Masters of Fine Arts, also from University of Massachusetts, and B.A. in History from Cornell University. His research interests include teacher response to student writing, composition pedagogy and discourse analysis.
