Bio

Dr. Handan Tanyıldızı Kökkülünk is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering at MMA. Holding a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from Istanbul University, she brings a multidisciplinary background to her teaching and research. With academic and teaching experience dating back to 2015, Dr. Kökkülünk bridges theoretical science with hands-on engineering applications, instructing applied courses such as Physics, Thermal Fluids and Fluid Power. Leveraging her pedagogical training, she offers a teaching approach that provides students with a rigorous and practical education.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Kökkülünk is an active researcher specializing in medical physics, radiation dosimetry, and the application of machine learning in health. She has successfully completed 4 scientific research projects and has authored 26 peer-reviewed international publications. By integrating her advanced research expertise with applied engineering instruction, she aims to provide MMA students with a comprehensive, forward-looking perspective on modern technical problem-solving.
