Anthony Hall ‘25
Student Trustee

Anthony Hall, from Winterport, Maine, is a current Maine Maritime Academy (MMA) student majoring in Marine Systems Engineering – 5-Year License Track. Anthony currently serves as the student representative on the MMA Board of Trustees, where he has gained insight into MMA and advocated for students at the highest level of the institution. As a Midshipman in the Regiment, Anthony has had additional leadership opportunities including being a Stryker, providing training for incoming freshmen; in Drill Company as executive officer; and as Cadet Third Assistant Engineer for the Training Ship State of Maine, where he provided training and mentorship to underclassmen during the annual training cruise. Outside of his academic career, Anthony began the Maple Syrup Club at MMA, an organization that now regularly engages more than 10% of the school. While living on campus, he started baking and sharing homemade sourdough bread in his dorm, which began as a hobby and evolved into an opportunity for community building and engagement that students anticipated weekly. In his free time, Anthony has a love for kayaking and enjoys making Christmas wreaths that have been enjoyed by many in the MMA community. He is scheduled to graduate in 2025 and, while shipping out and shoreside careers are both options, he is leaning toward shipping out, having recently passed his Coast Guard exams.
