2021 Summer Training Cruise A

Day 10: Welcome to Boston!

Posted on: April 27, 2021

Today marks the first port stop for the training ship during Cruise-A and we arrived in Boston at 0800 this morning. Although this was not our planned port, we were excited to see the skyline and be able to maneuver in and out of the harbor.

Students on deck maintenance were there to line handle and moor the ship to the pier. The engine maintenance did rounds with the watch to ensure that everything was running properly on the way into port.  Once in port, the utility company loaded fresh fruit and fresh vegetables to last the next nine days, until we get to Norfolk.

Please note: We will not be making our previously scheduled port stop in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We ask all packages be sent to a future port; for a full list of scheduled stops, please visit the Port Information page.
