2021 Summer Training Cruise A

Day 11: Heading South

Posted on: April 27, 2021

Today, the ship is off the coast of Nantucket Island. Students are hard at work around the ship beginning projects such as painting the decks, celestial navigation fixes, and cleaning the ship. One of the most important tasks aboard is undertaken by the utility company as they are responsible for the sanitation of the ship.

We’re all working hard on our sea projects and are busy studying for coast guard exams. Tonight, students are excited about a pretzel bar provided by Sodexo. Mostly, everyone aboard the ship is looking forward to the warm weather of the Caribbean! We are now headed for the Bahamas.
