Lynn Darnell was appointed to the faculty at MMA in August of 2010 to teach courses in electrical power, fluid power, and thermal/fluids. As a professor at New Hampshire Technical Institute for 23 years, Lynn taught digital electronics, electric circuits AC & DC, machine and assembly language, PLCs, PLDs, and a wide variety of student projects. He works with software such as CurcuitMaker, Multisim, Labview, PowerPoint, AutoCad and others, and his work experience in electronics engineering includes thick film, thin film and integrated circuit technology; electronics manufacturing and procurement; electronics design (analog, digital, microprocessor and interface); and lighting manufacturing (Xenon, Deuterium, Metal-arc, Lamps). Lynn's interests include scientific ballooning, Project Lead The Way, the US First Competition, Junior Solar Sprints, Man-Powered Submarine Competitions, submersible vehicles, and scuba diving.
