We have finally arrived in Mobile, Alabama! There are 13 of us – Maine Maritime Academy cadets – who traveled here with Captain Stephen Tarrant to participate in a limited training cruise alongside peers from federal and state maritime academies across the country. We’ve just finished breakfast and will begin to familiarize ourselves with the vessel shortly. We are so happy to be here.
