Our voyage across the Atlantic Ocean from Oslo, Norway, to Boston, Massachusetts, is nearing its end. Thankfully, it has been a fairly smooth voyage across the Atlantic, with no significant seas to speak of.
Over the last week, we celebrated the 4th of July with a BBQ, ate delicious wings during TSSOM’s famous “Wing Night,” and, of course, have done a lot of learning all along the way.
Bravo Company and Delta Company completed their final training day, with Alpha Company on deck tomorrow, and Charlie Company for the day after Boston. We have one day at sea before we tie up in Boston for a quick visit to meet with U.S. Customs and to complete an agriculture inspection.
We are scheduled to leave Boston on July 11, and arrive at anchor in Searsport on July 12. On July 13, we will be hosting the Family Cruise from Searsport to Castine for 2/C parents and immediate family. We can’t wait to see everyone again!
