After dropping off the pilot in Searsport, a gloomy day set in, and students began their work. Soon the sun came through the heavy clouds and set for the perfect day. Alpha company students set about learning line handling with machinery on the fantail while Charlie and Delta set about maintaining the TSSOM with a thorough cleaning and basic repairs.

Down below engine maintenance pulled out fuel injectors to the main engine while the TSSOM was anchored. At the end of the workday, many went to the 04 deck to play cornhole and soak up some of the warm rays. Smiles are abundant as we begin our journey to Port Canaveral with porpoises jumping in our wakes.
