After a successful day of boarding, the TSSOM is humming once more with the activity of hopeful future officers. During the move-in, the ship population reached nearly 230 personnel on board, all preparing for the voyage.

Students were excited to get underway, some nervous, but this is an experience that they would likely cherish the rest of their lives and learn much from. Students from all over the country joined in the check-in process at noon today and continued until 4 p.m. where muster was taken to get initial accountability for the students to participate. From freshmen to seniors, members of all classes were present to either begin their journey to the sea or finish the remaining hours to qualify them for their license.
