Yellow Ribbon Benefit Application

Please complete this form, sign and return to the certifying official no later than 30 days before the start of the academic year. The date of submission of this form will determine the order of the awards under the first-come, first-served requirement for the Yellow Ribbon Benefit. This form is primarily for the internal Maine Maritime Academy purposes; you must apply to the VA for the Certificate of Eligibility to receive the Veterans and Yellow Ribbon benefits. Only individuals entitled to the full 100% rate will qualify to receive this funding. Yellow Ribbon Benefits remain active while enrolled at MMA. Once there is a lapse in enrollment students must apply again to determine if the award is still available.
