All is well aboard schooner Bowdoin. Yesterday marks the first day setting Bowdoin offshore with her new crew. A 4-foot swell rolled in from the southeast and the reality of the North Atlantic started to set in. A few crew are still acclimating but remain well while staying positive and keeping active. We have been motor sailing through the night as high pressure has dominated the area ahead of a low-pressure system moving south of the area over the weekend. We expect to be abeam of Cape Sable early this evening under sail again. The estimated arrival in St. John’s is June 5th.
