Jergenson showed students how to use a sextant to observe the angle of the sun above the horizon. Another sailboat, the Walkabout, hailed us this morning and wished us a good season of sailing. They are headed to Labrador. We’re continuing to sail after a quick passage across the Gulf of Maine and are finally out of the strong currents found around Cape Sable.
