Phoebe Churney (Marine Bio/SVO, ’23) was awarded a number of scholarships to help fund an internship this summer. The scholarships are from the Women Divers Hall of Fame, the Quahog Bay Conservancy, Maine Sea Grant, and the MMA Ocean Studies’ Sawyer Fund. The funds are allowing her to conduct research on octopus behavior in Washington state. Go Phoebe!
