On our first full day at sea, we experienced calm seas and partly cloudy skies. Our days have been full since our departure from Castine on Wednesday!
Today, Delta Company conducted a line training using winches and practice lines. Bravo Company stayed busy with maintenance; half of the 4/C are on deck maintenance while the other half are on engine maintenance. Charlie Company scrubbed the ship stem to stern, making it look good before we cross the Atlantic. Meanwhile, Alpha Company has been busy on watch for the past three days and are looking forward to a relaxing day on utility as Charlie Company assumes the watch tonight.
We will stop in New York Harbor to refuel and set off towards Vigo, Spain, on Friday afternoon.
