After spending a warm and sunny two days in beautiful Alicante, Spain we are now on a one-way trip home. It is a gorgeous day as we are, once again, passing through the Straits of Gibraltar. Charlie Company started up the main engine in the morning on engine maintenance while deck maintenance sewed new covers for the winch controllers. Alpha had a busy day of training, they spliced manilla line into an eye splice and a back splice, as well as learned how to lash barrels to the deck. Delta did their daily cleaning as utility company, while Bravo stood watch. Only 12 days until we see the coast of Maine!
