Support the Schooner Bowdoin’s Arctic Voyage

Expeditions to the Arctic complement Maine Maritime Academy’s academic offerings and preserve the legacy of Captain MacMillan’s voyages. Students will conduct science experiments, practice celestial navigation, collect marine and terrestrial data, demonstrate seamanship, and serve as ambassadors for the Academy.

These voyages provide students with a unique and fully immersive opportunity to apply their classroom-learned maritime skills in a practical environment unlike any other.
