2018 Schooner Bowdoin

Another great day in Lunenburg!

Posted on: June 11, 2018

The crew started the day early, half staying on Bowdoin to do tarring, sanding, stitching, and other boat maintenance while the other group got to go to take a 2-hour sail on the historic 150 ft. Schooner Bluenose II. Captain Phil Watson of the Bluenose II graciously invited the entire crew of Bowdoin aboard the famed Schooner for a sail and the crew were able to meet and chat with the 20 professional crew working aboard. Half way through the day the crew swapped roles until 4pm when all crew were granted liberty to continue exploring the town. Then the entire Bowdoin crew found themselves at the same restaurant for an unforgettable last meal in Lunenburg! Newfoundland here we come!
