For the ship’s time in Havre St. Pierre we will be sharing the dock with the Ecuadorian Training Ship the Guayas. This training ship for the Ecuadorian Navy is a 257 Ft. Barque making Bowdoin look small in comparison.

One of the best parts of participating in Tall Ships Events is getting to know the international crews that bring their ships from all parts of the world to share their history and their love of sailing. The crew was able to mingle with many of the crew from Guayas after a wonderful welcoming ceremony from the City of Havre St. Pierre and was welcomed aboard to tour their ship, and of course we had them aboard to tour the Bowdoin as well.
