Following our last post, the ship was open as we welcomed the town of Havre St Pierre aboard the Bowdoin. The townspeople and organizers were wonderfully welcoming as they shared their Northern hamlet with us. Members of the crew were invited to explore the Archipelago, and the ship was gifted some raw titanium from the local mine upon which the town was built. Filled with warm hearts and new friends, we departed alongside Guayas and made our way back to Ile Niapiskau. After some R&R and time exploring the park, we will turn our focus to new adventures.
Tonight, we begin the 300nm journey to Saguenay, and we expect to arrive and explore the fjord Thursday. Fair winds!
