Bio

A native of Augusta, Maine, Professor Hersom graduated from MMA in 1988. Upon graduation, he was hired by General Electric to participate in their Field Engineering Program. After the completion of a 12-month intensive training session, he spent the next 32 years working in the electrical generation industry in many different capacities: field engineer, factory engineer, repair engineer, contract performance manager, and most recently as the customer service leader supporting customers in New England. His background is in steam and gas turbines, generator maintenance, and repair. After a great career with GE, he is excited to return to MMA.
