November Challenge – Try Something New
It can be easy to slip into a rut. Doing the same old thing day after day can cause a sense of boredom that may keep us from sticking to our commitment of living a healthier life.
This month’s challenge is to try something new!
What we would like you to do is try something you either have not tried before or one that is possibly outside your comfort zone. Trying something new can be a daunting challenge but it does not have to be. Here are some examples of things you could do:
It can be a class, a new exercise, a new book, a new recipe, walking instead of driving somewhere. Go paddle boarding, go horse-back riding, take a road trip, learn how to juggle, try Zumba, chocolate making, rock climbing, kayaking, pottery making, writing, golf, hiking, curling, hula hooping or dance. Run a race, try a new teaching technique, learn origami, go geo-caching, take a kick boxing class or try karate.
Let us know what you did, snap a photo, upload a video or simply send an email of the new activity you tried, it could inspire someone else to try something new! And remember to keep things fun!
To register to take part in this Month’s challenge please complete the registration form by Friday, November 6th.
Here are the ways to participate:
Earn an entry into the monthly drawing for each new activity you tried & shared with EMPLOYEE WELLNESS via FirstClass.
