Back on the ship with Reykjavik in our rear-views and Portland on our minds, freshmen had firefighting training, where students had to suit up and rescue a dummy.
Additionally, students dove back into star navigation and various engineering projects. Meanwhile, the brave souls in scullery sifted through food waste to ensure it was safe and ready to be disposed of. All hands are preparing for the roughest weather and the longest stretch of sea-time yet. We’ve been blessed with relatively smooth sailing and calm weather, but not for much longer.
