Today marked the first day of the Iron Mariner Challenge, an inter-company PT challenge that both boosts morale and keeps midshipmen in top physical condition. Students gathered on the 03 reception deck to participate and watch, despite the heat and humidity. In addition, Charlie Company completed their first training exam, which leaves Alpha as the only company not to have taken it yet. We’re halfway to Galveston, and students are clearly relieved to have only a short interval between ports.
