2016 Summer Training Cruise

Day 40: Flashlights and Popcorn

Posted on: June 16, 2016

Weather: Sunny          Wind: 10 kts W               Seas: Moderate Swell
Alpha: Utility          Bravo: Training          Charlie: Watch         Delta: Maintenance

Flashlights were conducted for Bravo today, another success for the 2/C Engineers. Meanwhile, topside, the 2/C Deck Cadets evaluated the charts, forecast, and berth to prepare for a long awaited arrival in Portsmouth. The evening brought about a cool breeze, which some took advantage of while others enjoyed evening popcorn. Charlie and Delta Companies prepare to continue another day of Watch and Maintenance, respectively, while Alpha and Bravo trade places. Good luck to the final 4/C and 2/C on their tests, drawings, and flashlights.
