Temperatures have cooled drastically as we find ourselves off the coast of New Jersey, to the pleasure of some students and dismay of others. Anticipation is building for our arrival in Portsmouth, especially for the Juniors who are finishing their cruise. A dress uniform and room inspection was held this evening, and now that it’s out of the way, the atmosphere on the ship has become extremely relaxed. Midshipmen gathered on deck after the inspection to enjoy the sunset, and discuss their plans for port.
- 2/C Donlon and 4/C Nevins strip and wax the deck in preparation for a thorough inspection.
- Alpha 2/C on engine watch.
- 4/C Fogg, 2/C Thompson and Hall, and Dr. Sheldon Cooper.
- Students, crew, and training officers alike enjoy a beautiful evening at sea.
- 4/C Collins and Gamage serving pasta for lunch.
- Bailey and 4/C Williams and Shea are glad to have passed inspection.
