We spent the morning with Deck Training calculating search patterns for search and rescue since we are a bit ahead of schedule for our arrival in Norfolk. Preparations continue for the loading of equipment when we get to port and almost everyone has started a countdown to Castine.

- 4/C Bernier sizes a gasket for a valve on engine maintenance today.
- Delta engine maintenance welds supports for a pipe in the engine room. They had to do this outside because there was too much welding to be done in the machine shop.
- 4/C Flaherty and 4/C Erickson clean up the weight room in preparation for getting the new gym equipment that is coming on in Norfolk Virginia.
- 2/C Sonesson and 4/C Brantley complete a fuel transfer today while on watch.
