On the 71st anniversary of the D-Day landing at Normandy we saw clear skies and calm seas for our second day in a row. Bravo missed much of the great weather as they conducted training on confined space entry but Alpha and Delta made good use of it, working on more painting projects and rinsing out the swabs.

- 2/C Leblanc, 4/C Eastburn, and 4/C DiBiase are cleaning the ships mop heads by tying them to some line and towing them behind the ship while on utility.
- 4/C Akerberg using the needle gun to prep the lifeboat davit for a fresh coat of primer and paint.
- We have ballast tanks to keep us trim and stable, 2/C Benedict and 4/C Faltings are sounding the ballast tanks during their deck maintenance.
- After a long chipping, grinding, and priming process. 2/C Cameron and 4/CFaust are preparing the vent for painting.
