We’ve reached day 50 on TSSOM and it’s only a few more weeks until we are back in Castine. Our next and final port before crossing the Atlantic back home is Alicante. Today Alpha Company took inventory of all of our life saving equipment on the life boats. There was also a monthly safety meeting today from 3/M Torrey where we discussed shipboard safety. This included a demonstration from 2/C Lewis and Parker demonstrating the proper use of an immersion suit and thermal protective aid. Tomorrow we will be expecting growing seas as we make our journey west to Alicante.
