2018 Summer Training Cruise

Day 3: Drills, drills, drills!

Posted on: May 9, 2018

Another day filled with lots of preparation and drills! Today during the drills, the Nutting Memorial Library staff were here to take Virtual Reality footage with their new Obsidian-S VR camera donated by MMA alumnus, Bill Lowell. The U.S. Coast Guard was also on board to watch and audit the drills. After the abandon-ship drill, a life raft demonstration took place. Students got to watch first hand how the life rafts work and even got to go inside of them. Spirits are high as we get ready for the big departure tomorrow.
