We were excited to have VOT student Hila Shooter working alongside us over the Thanksgiving break. With her help, the engine room looks a whole lot cleaner than before!

The fuel tanks received a thorough inspection this week, and passed with flying colors.
We are excited to begin planing the new planking next week.

The battens running along the top timbers will help us preserve the boat’s shape as we begin to replace all of the top timbers.
With additional planks removed, we’ll be able to replace a couple of the frame heads that were looking worn.
Its really challenging to get the whole boat in one frame.
