Thomas G. Queen ’80

DANIELSVILLE, Pa. – Tom Queen, 60 passed away Nov. 6, 2018, at Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown, Pa. He was born June 5, 1958.

For the past 11 years, Tom lived and worked in Danielsville, Pa. Prior to that, he lived in Casco, Maine on Thomas Pond with his wife of 33 years, Robyn (Seavey) Queen, and his two sons, Ryan and Kerry.

He was a 1976 graduate of Cheverus High School as well as a 1980 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy. After graduation, he spent many years as a Merchant Marine. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Berlinsville, Pa.

Tom loved the outdoors, spending time fishing, boating and snowmobiling. He also had a passion for Nascar Racing. Most recently, he spent summers with his wife, son, and grandsons enjoying swimming, camping, fishing as well as all activities that Maine has to offer.

Tom was predeceased by his son Kerry James Queen; as well as his father Charles E. Queen. He is survived by his wife Robyn (Seavey) Queen of Danielsville, Pa.; his son Ryan of Limington; and two grandsons Jameson and Riggin of Gorham; his mother Florence E. of Portland; three sisters, Barbara Colby of Colorado Springs, Marjorie Queen of Old Orchard Beach, Mary Catherine of Portland and two brothers, Donald and wife Karen of Richland, Wash., and Christopher of Maine. Visiting hours will be held Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. followed by a funeral Mass at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd., South Portland, with burial to follow in Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St.
