Terry R. Parker ’64
Captain Terry R. Parker, 71, Lady Lake, FL died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, He was the son of the late Lunnie H. & Florence Richardson Parker. He grew up and lived in the family homestead in Milford NH and has been wintering in the Villages for four years. He was a retired Captain in the U.S. Merchant Marines. He was a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine and Milford High School. Capt. Parker was a member of both the First Congregational Church in Milford, NH and Congregational Church of The Villages, FL. He was very active in the Masonic order and was a charter member for Souhegan DeMolay (past DeMolay Dad); 50 year member of Penobscot Lodge #4 in Maine; Benevolent Lodge #7, Milford, NH; Scottish Rite Consistory and 32 Degree Mason; a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter # 29 in Milford, NH; member of both The Villages Shrine Club and the Bektash Shrine Club in New Hampshire; and member of both the Royal Arch and Jesters. In addition, he was member of the Hamm Radio Operators Club and Segway Owners Club in The Villages, FL. Survivors include his wife Judith L. Parker, The Villages, FL & Milford, NH; daughter Pauline Parker Brannigan and her husband James of New Milford, CT; brother, Captain Grayson L. Parker and sister in law Natalie Parker, Wilton, NH; a niece, 2 nephews and 2 great-nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
