Steven Sermos ’75

Steven Sermos age 60 years died in Alexander, Maine on Friday, June 14, 2013. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 14, 1952, he graduated from Chauncey Hall in Boston with the class of 1970. He went on to graduate from the Maine Maritime Academy with the class of 1975.  He has been a resident of Maine for the past 8 years moving there from Walpole, Massachusetts. Being a graduate of Maine Maritime, Mr. Sermos was a Merchant Marine working on various ships throughout his career. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and collecting model trains. Loving father of Christina C. Sermos and her fiance Thomas Green of Brockton and Plato J. Sermos of Brighton. Cherished grandfather of Caleb and Liam Green. Devoted son of the late Plato and Christine Sermos. Brother of Evangeline Pappas and her husband Angelo of Canton and Dimitria Sullivan and her husband James of Dedham. Also survived by his close friends Doug and Karen Poor of Alexander, Maine. All services were private at the request of the family.
