Ralph Hayden III ’61

Ralph Hayden III, 76, of Joppa, MD passed away on October 13, 2015 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Ralph Hayden Jr. and Margaret (Brooks) Hayden, and husband of the late Margaret Anne Hayden. Mr. Hayden graduated from Tabor Academy, and the Maine Maritime Academy. He was a sailor and worked on the big ships, tankers, and tug boats at Curtis Bay.

Mr. Hayden is survived by his sons, Joshua Hayden of Joppa, MD, and Daniel Hayden of Greensboro, NC; daughters, Rachel Hayden of Warrenton, VA, and Sarah Mandrell of Lewiston, ID; as well as grandchildren, Makennah Brode, and Baylee Hayden.
