Lawrence M. Theriault ’53

Lawrence M. Theriault, 81, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on April 6, 2014. He was born in Millinocket, Maine, son of the late Lionel and Helen Theriault. He was a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy after which he served two years in the U.S. Navy. He then graduated from Boston University with a degree in aeronautical engineering. He retired from a 31 year career in the civil service having received the Meritorious Civilian Service Award from the Department of the Navy in 1990.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 11, 2014. Flowers are gratefully accepted or those wishing may make a contribution in his memory to Community Hospice of NE Florida or your local Hospice.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret, brother Jon, 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Connie and two grandchildren.
