Kelsey E. Nalette ’16

Kelsey Elizabeth Nalette, 24, formerly of Goffstown and currently of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Jacksonville.

Kelsey, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Tveter) Nalette and the light of her family and friends’ lives, was born in Manchester on December 20, 1993. Kelsey grew up in a household of love and laughter, taking trips to Disney with her family and spending hours outside hunting for salamanders with her siblings.

Kelsey had a zest for life and put herself wholeheartedly into everything she did. As an avid softball player in high school and college, a 2012 Trinity High School graduate and a 2016 Maine Maritime Academy graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Logistics, Kelsey pursued her dreams with insurmountable support from her family. Kelsey was fiercely independent from a young age and moved to Florida freshly out of college to complete the Disney College Internship Program where she earned her ears and, unsurprisingly, she succeeded in every aspect, building bonds, friendships, and memories that could not be broken or forgotten.

Kelsey was admired by her colleagues and coworkers for her incredible work ethic and determination. Kelsey was currently employed as a Maritime Logistics Coordinator for Signet Maritime Corporation where she made fast friends that quickly turned to family as she built a life for herself in Jacksonville that she absolutely loved. She loved spending weekends with family and friends at Disney, on the boat, at the beach, or at concerts – singing at the top of her lungs. Kelsey had a gift of making everyone feel loved and she lit up every room she walked into with her bubbly personality and her magnetic, larger-than-life energy. She loves dogs with a passion, especially her family dogs- Jake and Mookie. She loves the Red Sox and Patriots and watching games with her family and friends.

Kelsey’s family and friends were her true passions in life. She held strong, unique relationships with each and every one of her loved ones. She had a contagious laugh and gave the biggest and best hugs that we can still hear and feel to this day. Kelsey was a loyal and loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend. She will forever be remembered as a beautiful woman who loved life and bringing unstoppable laughter to everyone she was with.

Kelsey is survived by her parents, Liz and Bill of Goffstown; her brother Nicholas Nalette and his wife Mari-Briege (Dunn) Nalette of Newmarket, her sister Jenna Nalette of Goffstown, grandmother Pauline Nalette of Manchester, and aunt, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly. Kelsey’s family and friends will miss her greatly every day and will continue to celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Monday, August 13 from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Ste. Marie Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with committal services to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
