Advanced Firefighting Revalidation and BT Revalidation are taught concurrently. You will receive the training and certificates for both classes within the same training days.

Course Description

This course is open to all seafarers who have previously been certified in Advanced Fire Fighting. You must be capable of meeting the physical and professional eligibility requirements for STCW certification, have at least entry-level mariner documents from USCG or a foreign flag state whose mariner credentialing organization will accept USCG documents, and who presents evidence of one year of sea time within the past 5 years.
 
Important Notes:

• To comply with NFPA regulations for SCBA use, students must be clean-shaven. Mustaches are permitted.
• It’s recommended to bring an extra set of clothes to change into after the live burn exercise.

 
USCG Approval
Applicants who successfully complete our Advanced Fire Fighting Revalidation course will satisfy the advanced fire-fighting revalidation requirements of 46 CFR 11.201(h) (l) and 11.303(d); and Table A-VI/3 of the STCW Code, as amended 2010 provided he or she has been previously certified per Section A-VI/3 of the STCW Code, as amended 2010.
