Homecoming & Family Weekend 2026

Join us for Homecoming & Family Weekend 2026 at Maine Maritime Academy! Whether you’re returning as an alumnus, visiting as a family member, cheering on a student, or experiencing campus for the first time, this is a weekend to celebrate the MMA community.

Reconnect with classmates and friends, revisit your favorite places on campus, make new memories, and enjoy a full schedule of events for all ages. From Academy traditions and athletic competitions to family-friendly activities, waterfront experiences, and social gatherings, there’s something for everyone throughout the weekend.

Special Honor Classes for Homecoming 2026: 1946, 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, and 2021.

On Friday, kick off the weekend by attending Morning Formation, then join fellow alumni and friends for the Alumni & Friends Golf Scramble. In the evening, enjoy the traditional Lobster Bake, live music, and a Contra Dance in the Field House.

Saturday’s festivities feature harbor tours, the annual Alumni Association meeting, family activities, food, games, and football. Following the traditional March On, Honor Classes can gather in reserved tents along Honor Alley (Pleasant Street) to reconnect and tailgate throughout the afternoon. Other classes, families, and groups are welcome to enjoy the tailgate area on a first-come, first-served basis.

We look forward to welcoming alumni, students, families, faculty, staff, and friends back to Castine for a memorable Homecoming & Family Weekend.
