William “Bill” King Chase passed away at the age of 90 on June 6, 2014. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to King and Myrtle Chase on November 9, 1923.

Bill Chase was a graduate of the second graduating class of the Maine Maritime Academy (1944), where he subsequently became commissioned officer in the United States Navy, also receiving his US Coast Guard license; his daughter, Marjorie followed her father’s footsteps in pursuing her US Coast Guard licensing in Kona, HI.

Bill owned Chase Chevrolet in Stockton for 50 years, now owned by his son John Chase. Bill was a loving and caring man who enjoyed spending time with his family.
